Our Instructors

Pitching Instructor Bryan Clark

A California native, Clark attended Fresno Community College and had a 17-year professional career in Major League Baseball. Six of those seasons were spent in the big leagues. The left-handed pitcher was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates and later played in the Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Cleveland Indians and Seattle Mariner organizations. Clark is now one of the most sought after professional pitching instructors in Texas.

Hitting Instructor Bill Carlson

Carlson is a native of California and attended the University of Florida. Bill was drafted by the San Francisco Giants and played 6 years in the Giants organization. Bill invented "Netball", a fast-paced baseball game designed to teach youth how to hit the ball up the middle.

Hitting Instructor John Darjean

After a fine college career as centerfielder at Dallas Baptist University, John was drafted in the 6th round by the New York Yankees and spent 4 years in the Yankees system. John was considered one of the fastest humans in the world as he once ran a 6.2 sixty yard dash.

Pro Instructor Anthony Coleman

Anthony added on his to his stellar high school baseball career by serving as a coach at his alma mater, Prairie View University.

The Dallas Baseball Alliance is governed by an executive board and assistance from an advisory board of former professional athletes, scouts and community representatives.

While each member brings a unique skill set and background to the organization, they are energized and unified by a common passion for the game of baseball and, more importantly, recognize the tremendous benefits and opportunities baseball affords the youth of DFW.
